RECOGNITIONS AND AWARDS

In it's few years of attending the Novi Sad Agricultural Fair, the Mrkan winery has been awarded:
  • 7 gold and 9 silver medals for craft red wines Mrkan.
  • 1 silver and 1 bronze medal for craft white wines Suvodolski Dukat
  • The grand gold and a gold medal for craft brandy Ceklinska Loza


In addition to this, our recognitions include three golden cups from Novi Sad Agricultural Fair, awarded for "Overall selection of spirits and high quality of wines", in the years of 2010 and 2011, as well as a gold champions cup awarded in 2012 at the same fair for high quality of presented wines.
In 2010 and 2011, at the Adriatic Fair in Budva, the winery has been awarded with one gold and three silver medals for quality of Mrkan red wines, as well as a bronze medal for the quality of Suvodolski dukat white wine.

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

        Through the "Midas II" program of support for reconstruction and renewal of existing stone walls by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro, our winery has received financial support for one of it's reconstruction projects. On the occasion of contract signing in November 2012, a small reception was organized, among others attended by Montenegro's president Filip Vujanović, minister of agriculture and rural development Tarzan Milošević, director of IRF (Investiciono-razvojni fond Crne Gore) Dragan Lajović as well as Cetinje's mayor Aleksandar Bogdanović.
